Summary: It was everything we expected from a quality chateaux and more. In blissfully tranquil surroundings with all the comforts of home. We stayed in the La Millierie cote Jardin. With a well equipped kitchen and extremely tastefully furnished accommodation set in its own garden we were not disappointed. In Marie’s absence Ursula and Julie went above and beyond when the dishwasher broke and we found the mattress too soft. Ursula is an amazing cook and cooked dinner for us twice; once for my husband’s birthday, which was held in the atmospheric and festive barn. We were treated well and made to feel welcome. We made good use of the pool during the high temperatures. Remember you will be in the country so expect those pesky flies! Great restaurants within a short drive away and surrounded by historic castles, rivers and nature.
